Como acto de cierre de la Semana palenquera, este viernes 27 de septiembre se presenta en el auditorio de la Fundación Gilberto Alzate Avendaño, a las 4:30 de la tarde, la Tripleta Palenquera, conformada por Charles King, Viviano Torres y Louis Tower.

Con el propósito de reivindicar la presencia en Bogotá de la historia ancestral del primer pueblo libre de América, el colectivo palenquero Kuagro Moná Ri Palenque, con apoyo del Instituto Distrital de la Participación (IDPAC), como parte de la campaña institucional “Vive la diversidad, termina con la Discriminación”, viene realizando la primera Semana Palenquera, que culmina con un concierto de tres de los más reconocidos representantes de la música de esta región del país.
