Con el fin de brindarles a los creadores de las localidades del centro de la ciudad (La Candelaria, Los Mártires y Santa Fe) herramientas para que desarrollen sus propios contenidos, promuevan sus creaciones en los entornos digitales y lleguen de manera más efectiva a sus audiencias, la FUGA creo el programa Conectando al centro. Al mismo tiempo, esta iniciativa buscaba aportar de manera efectiva a la reactivación del centro de la ciudad. Este proceso liderado por la FUGA, que inició en agosto con la participación del Colectivo Atempo y Dirty Kitchen, tuvo su ceremonia de clausura en el Muelle de la FUGA con la participación de los artistas y gestores culturales y de las personas que guiaron su proceso.
"Somos conscientes de que las relaciones entre la ciencia, la tecnología y el arte se vuelven cada vez más urgentes y necesarias, por lo que es importante generar productos que permitan la expresión simbólica. Esta nueva realidad llegó para quedarse, por lo que desde la FUGA estamos construyendo propuestas para que la entidad se convierta en un centro de innovación de las artes y de esta manera consolidar el ecosistema cultural y creativo de centro de la ciudad. Queremos no solo mostrar lo que pasa en el centro sino lo que se hace en el centro”, sostiene Adriana Padilla Leal, directora de la FUGA.
Este programa piloto contó con la participación de artistas plásticos y visuales, gestores culturales, talleristas de arte, artesanos y pintores. Cada, uno, desde su disciplina y con su estilo particular, ideó la manera de crear una pieza llamativa que plasmara su arte y al mismo tiempo interesara al espectador. Juan Pablo Cifuentes, de Roxy Rollart, muestra cómo desde el arte trabajan el reciclaje y el aprovechamiento de los recursos. Meliza Mayor enseña a hacer animaciones con marionetas de papel. Bryan Rairan realiza un taller para fabricar filtros para el celular y tomar llamativas fotos. Adriana Valdés promociona Adribal, su academia de ballet virtual, mostrando pasos básicos.
Hernán Valero habla de su proyecto de reconstrucción del tejido social de Los Mártires basado en prácticas artísticas. Dickson Farith Cardona realiza videos únicos e inolvidables para sus seres queridos. José Alfredo Durán hace grabación y edición de audiovisuales, cortometrajes y producción digital y en esta ocasión da tips a la hora de utilizar software libre. Lizeth Bottía enseña cómo hacer un bodegón con naturaleza al óleo. Patricia López habla de sus pinturas, la gran mayoría de pequeño formato, y finalmente Sandra Teresa Díaz, gestora cultural, hace un interesante recorrido por el Cementerio Central.
Los productos finales de este grupo de artistas y gestores culturales ya están circulando en diferentes plataformas digitales, incluyendo las de la FUGA, a partir de una estrategia que permite a cada iniciativa conectarse con sus públicos de interés. Los videos contaron con una inversión en pauta publicitaria lo que permitió llegar a un mayor número de usuarios.
El esfuerzo y dedicación de los participantes, sumado a la experticia de los talleristas, ya está rindiendo frutos. Este es el caso de Patricia López, para quien su video se ha convertido en una excelente vitrina de su arte. “Compradores de mi obra de diversos países volvieron a conectarse conmigo. Recibí dos propuestas de empresas que me quieren ayudar con mi página web y en las redes. Una galería también mostró interés. Y por si fuera poco un colectivo me invitó a diseñar una performance en espacio público”, comenta Patricia con profundo agradecimiento.
En la primera fase se realizó una invitación para que los creadores del centro de la ciudad diligenciaran una encuesta para indagar sobre la situación actual de los agentes culturales de las localidades de Los Mártires, Santa Fe y La Candelaria, y los retos que enfrentan por la crisis generada por el COVID 19. Por otra parte, se buscaba identificar el nivel de acercamiento que tienen los creadores del Centro de la ciudad con las nuevas tecnologías y el uso de las redes sociales como herramientas para la circulación de sus proyectos. En total 117 personas diligenciaron la encuesta y de este grupo se hizo una preselección de 25 participantes, Los preseleccionados recibieron cuatro talleres en temas como comunicación verbal, expresión corporal, pedagogía artística y capacitación técnica. Con base en esto, los participantes realizaron un video que será sometido a evaluación. Finalmente se escogieron los 10 finalistas que culminaron el programa piloto.
