Por esa razón, este 29 y 30 de octubre se llevó a cabo en el Auditorio de la FUGA un grupo focal denominado Café del Mundo, un formato en el que de manera informal se dieron cita gestores culturales, jurados y artistas que hacen parte de las áreas de Artes Escénicas y Musicales, quienes dieron su punto de vista desde su experiencia y su propia gestión en las convocatorias de la FUGA.
El 29 de octubre, a las 9 a.m., se reunieron varios de los ganadores de Estímulos del área de las Artes escénicas, quienes discutieron respecto a la necesidad de establecer redes para conocer el trabajo del otro, pues aquellos que ganan las convocatorias realizan su presentación y no hay ningún tipo de divulgación posterior. Alba Mora, de la Corporación al Alba Producciones, comenta que “hace falta que nosotros como sector conozcamos la propuesta de los demás artistas que se ganaron el estímulo; cuándo se presentan, cómo podemos ayudar a hacer eco y de esa manera también crear audiencia (…)”.
Además de ser muy útil para la divulgación de los eventos, asevera Alba, sirve también para que aquellos artistas o entidades que se presentaron a las convocatorias y no pasaron encuentren en las propuestas ganadoras un referente para saber cuál fue el proceso, cómo es la mejor manera de desarrollarlo y qué deberían mejorar.
Kirsh Cobric, gestor cultural de La Candelaria y asistente del grupo focal, destaca que este espacio que decidió abrir la FUGA es muy importante y debería realizarse con más regularidad, pues la retroalimentación sirve para mejorar desde lo institucional, así como para que el sector mejore sus propuestas artísticas y articule proyectos a nivel local. Sumado a eso, asevera que la “FUGA sigue siendo la plataforma de apoyo para nuevas propuestas, emprendimientos culturales y nuevos creadores”.
Sin embargo, destaca que hay que mejorar algunas dimensiones de las convocatorias, como por ejemplo la comunicación de la oferta, tanto para la convocatoria como para el público. Cobric cree que hay que mejorar en la construcción de comunidad, y sugiere que una buena manera de hacerlo es abriendo este tipo de espacios, no solo con los gestores y artistas ganadores, sino con el público que también es uno de los agentes del sector cultura.
Por su parte, el 30 de octubre se reunieron jurados, ganadores y artistas del área de las Artes Musicales, con quienes se realizó la misma dinámica. Para esta ocasión, las temáticas más relevantes giraron en torno a la comunicación, el lenguaje, la generación de nuevos públicos y la evaluación objetiva de los criterios de evaluación.
Raiza Romero, músico y jurado de una de las convocatorias de Estímulos de la FUGA, comenta que la jornada fue bastante fructífera, pues se hizo una crítica al estado actual de las convocatorias, desde diversas miradas, con el propósito de saber cómo operar en el futuro y cómo mejorar el sistema de oferta cultural.
Algunas de las conclusiones que la artista destaca son que “se reconoció el histórico de la participación en las convocatorias, tanto de la FUGA con su oferta en becas y estímulos, como del público con su participación de propuestas en el sistema de convocatorias. Además, hay un interés notable por parte de la FUGA por mejorar y diversificar la oferta y por escuchar al sector”, afirma Romero.
Por otro lado, y en lo que muchos concuerdan, es que hay problemas estructurales con la difusión y el lenguaje que se utiliza para socializar las convocatorias. “Por eso en esta mesa de trabajo intentamos sugerir alternativas en la comunicación para lograr que las convocatorias lleguen a la mayor cantidad de personas, entendiendo la transición que hubo de lo físico a las plataformas digitales”, señala Brian Alfonso, productor y músico de RealHero. Alfonso afirma que esto no solo contribuye a mejorar el nivel de asistencia, sino que puede ser una oportunidad para enganchar nuevos artistas; que sepan de la Fundación, de las convocatorias y se animen a participar”, concluye.
