La Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Visuales de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, como parte de su proceso de reconocimiento y proyección hacia la comunidad ha venido realizando periódicamente una exposición de sus egresados más representativos. El propósito de estas exposiciones es dar relieve a propuestas que tengan resonancia en el ámbito de la plástica nacional, y revertir ese registro como indicador comparativo con los procesos pedagógicos que se llevan a cabo en el programa de pregrado de la Escuela y en el ámbito de la educación artística a nivel universitario en general.
Un formato diferente...
En esta ocasión PERISCOPIO modifica su formato tradicional de exposición por uno mixto, laboratorio-exposición, desde el cual se visualizan procesos y el amplio campo de acción del artista contemporáneo.
PERISCOPIO articula propuestas diversas que incluyen obras que tienen sus fundamentos en los medios tradicionales pero que se transforman en hechos participativos y de acción. Dichas propuestas se complementan con un buen grupo de artistas que trabajan con principios de arte y tecnología, medios digitales, video y fotografía. El laboratorio se llevará a cabo simultáneamente en los espacios de El Parqueadero y Plataforma Bogotá. Actividades como interlocución e interacción con los artistas y con el público, laboratorios, conversatorios temáticos y conferencias complementarán la programación del laboratorio.

Laboratorio/taller de dibujos animados a cargo de Manuel Calderón
Primera sesión: viernes 2 de agosto (grupo 1), viernes 9 de agosto (grupo 2), segunda sesión: viernes 16 de agosto (grupo 1 y 2). 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
El taller tiene como propósito realizar animaciones a través de los más sencillos elementos, lápiz o tinta sobre papel, reconociendo el calco como una forma de dibujo, por lo cual no será necesario saber dibujar.
Se explorarán técnicas básicas de la animación como el flickbook, la rotoscopia, los zootropos y el stop-motion para conseguir personajes animados que luego se mezclarán con recursos digitales para crear escenas básicas animadas.

HGB abre un espacio para generar una propuesta de intervención colaborativa sobre el río San Francisco en el sector conocido como Eje Ambiental en el centro de la ciudad de Bogotá. Ésta se construirá durante los dos primeros encuentros, donde se buscará que los artistas o el público asistente decidan la dinámica del recorrido desde la reflexión colectiva del arte público, la defensa del agua, sus posibilidades de interrelación y comunicación*.
