El taller es de caracter público y gratuito. Las inscripciones estarán abiertas hasta el martes 28 de enero de 2014, 5:00 p.m.
Se convoca a ciudadanos y agrupaciones que lleven a cabo iniciativas ciudadanas y artísticas en torno a la memoria histórica y/o la soberanía alimentaria. El objetivo del proyecto CITIZEN ART DAYS es la activación del espacio público como escenario donde se proyectan imaginarios sociales y políticos de forma participativa. Se concibe como una plataforma que relaciona distintos agentes, proyectos artísticos e iniciativas civiles para facilitar conexiones entre el arte y las prácticas cotidianas.
El taller girará en torno a la memoria cooperativa que analiza estrategias desarrolladas por proyectos de gestión ambiental (decrecimiento económico) o empresas creativas en relación con la consolidación de discursos de la memoria. Para esto se revisarán aspectos como el trabajo voluntario, la subsistencia creativa, la convivencia, la responsabilidad social, la economía regional, el desarrollo de conocimiento, entre otros.
Los CITIZEN ART DAYS se han llevado a cabo en Berlín a lo largo de dos años (2012 y 2013) gracias al apoyo de la Agencia Federal de Educación Cívica (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung) y en Bangalore (India), en noviembre del 2013. www.citizenartdays.de
Dirigido a líderes comunitarios, gestores de proyectos sociales o ambientales y/o artistas con experiencia en el desarrollo de proyectos comunitarios o colaborativos e interés en realizar o consolidar proyectos en torno a la memoria colectiva con comunidades específicas. Se busca que los participantes del taller representen iniciativas en curso con potencial de insertarse de forma activa en el espacio público. Se espera que a futuro sean unos multiplicadores y conformen una red de trabajo en torno a esta experiencia.

Este taller se realiza como actividad paralela a la exposición Erinnerungsfelder / Campos de memoria. Intervenciones artísticas en el espacio público en Colombia 2000 – 2011 del curador Oscar Ardila, abierta al público hasta el 28 de febrero de 2014 en la Fundación Gilberto Alzate Avendaño.

Es arquitecta de la Universidad de Weimar y Dresden. (1990-1991), BA en Artes Plásticas de la Universidad de Artes Weissensee-Berlin (2001-2007) y realizó estudios de posgrado en Arte en el Espacio Público en la Academia de Artes de Nürnberg (2007). Ha desarrollado proyectos en el espacio público y desde el 2011 trabaja en el colectivo Parallele Welten con Maria Linares y Stefan Krüskemper. Ha sido becaria del Goethe Institut y la Heinrich Böll Stiftung en Etiopía (2011), la Fundación Straubinger y el FES-India (2005). Ha trabajado con el Instituto Israelí-Alemán para la Historia y la Asociación de Artistas de Nürnberg (2010) y desde 2009 es miembro del grupo de investigación Superconstellation. Ha sido docente invitada de la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Dortmund (2006). Arquitecto de la Universidad de Dortmund con estudios de posgrado en Arte en el Espacio Público de la Academia de Artes de Nürnberg (1999-2000). Trabajó en cooperación con el Instituto Moderno de Arte de Nürnberg (1999-2000) y como Asistente de Profesor en la Academia de Artes de Nürnberg y la Universidad para las Artes y la Sociedad en Bonn/Alfter. Desde 2006 hace parte de la comisión para la concepción, concursos y jurados de selección de la Oficina para Arte en el Espacio Público de Berlín. Maestra en Artes Plásticas de la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano y filósofa de la Universidad del Rosario de Bogotá (1989-1993) con estudios de Maestría en Arte en Espacio Público de la Academia de Artes de Nürnberg (Alemania). Ha sido becaria del KAAD (1996-1999). El interés principal de la práctica artística de María Linares son las relaciones interpersonales en su actividad artística y curatorial. Su trabajo se desarrolla en el espacio público y sus proyectos están concebidos y ejecutados bajo la colaboración concreta de los ciudadanos.
